Port Isabel’s Longest Causeway Run & Wellness Walk… over the longest bridge in Texas!
The 28th Longest Causeway Run & Fitness Walk, Saturday, January 14th, 2012. Perfect weather, 1,800 runners and a record 4,360 participants made this 10k tradition over the longest bridge in Texas a year to remember! Runners and walkers left Yturria and Houston St. in Port Isabel at 10:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. and followed a course over the 2.6 mile Queen Isabella Causeway, over the Laguna Madre Bay, on to South Padre Island.
